TWO PRONGED ‘TWEEKIE’

ASSAULT ON THE TABLE TOP

WELL March is with us and yet another person is sitting top of the table. ‘MISS TWEEKIE’ has

A single point lead over ‘GOZO KING’ (Terry Gregory) and then TWEEKIE himself (Keith

Haskett) is third, ahead on the tie break from last month’s leader, CHRIS SMITH. Next are 5

people level on 56 points: ARNIE & BEAR, ‘DUTCH’ HOLLAND, BRIAN WILLIAMS, CENK

SELIM and DAVE RODERICKS. DR. CRAB EYES (Kirsty Baxter) is holding the last prize place

at present. Just outside the prizes are TOTTENHAM FOPSPURS and CAMPBELL HOTSPURS will

They ‘flatter to deceive’ just like the real thing. CHINGFORD O’s (Brian Edwards), STEVEN

FIFE, TOM BAXTER, JAMES NICHOLS, JOHN HAMMOND, JOE LYNCH and TONY KITE are

all in with a shout on 52 points. But apart from the top places a meagre 9 points separates

3rd to 45 position.

The Carling cup points have been added into the totals, so the benefit of having good,

Cup selections is being highlighted for a serious challenge for the title.

So down with the strugglers and GARY AIZEN is still down among the dead men with 32

Points, KEVIN TOMLIN on 29, THE FAT CONTROLLER (Jake Wylie) has 28, BAKERBOY XXX

Has 26 and STEVE WHITE on 18. So to the Spoon battle, THE REV SPOONER has -14, PETER

(I’m putting me pennies away) SULLIVAN on -19, PAUL WHITE on -22 and IF ONLY on -23.

So it seems as much effort to lose is being put in by some, as others put in to win! Still a

long way to go yet, and a few ‘Portsmouth’s’ and ‘Chester’s to chuck a spanner in the

  work’s as well.
